2012 Glass Blower's Ball

      Yesterday, I attended the annual Glass Blower's Ball at Shea Glass in South Minneapolis.  My older brother Tony Michaud-Scorza has been blowing since he was 15 and is the first artist featured in this set of photos. He learned the art during an apprenticeship under Doug Becker, who is the second artist shown here.  Glassblowing is their principle form of employment and they have a deep passion for the art as well as many other interesting hobbies like spear fishing, cooking, gardening and hunting.  Doug's work can be found at www.beckerartglass.com.
