Week Four 1/2 in Austin

Only four weeks after moving from the U of M, I returned to shoot the Austin High School gymnastics team at a state tournament.  It was nice to get back to my old stomping grounds for a few hours.

On my day off, Sadie and I went to Myre State Park in Albert Lea to walk game trails and shoot photos of critters.  We walked for a few hours without much luck.  On our way back, I realized the prettiest thing I'd seen all day was following me to the car.

Pig Kiss

Kindergarteners clap at the unveiling of two small pigs at Brownsdale Elementary School.  After completing their reading goals, the children got what they wished for- every adult in the building must kiss a pig.

Two high schoolers started to "body box" while I recorded the names of some subjects.  The crowd of 15 teenagers watching the fight seemed more enthused by my taking pictures than the fight itself.  "They're just playing around you know." One nervous youngster assured me.
